     Offering a number of band configurations which are sure to satisfy any and all of your entertainment needs, The Sounds of Essence performs a variety of musical genres, to include Straight Ahead Jazz utilizing upright or electric bass, Contemporary Jazz, R&B, Old School Jams, Motown, Blues, and Swing. If light jazz/background music is your pleasure, we suggest our jazz trio, featuring keyboards, bass guitar, and drums. Building on this foundation we'll continue to customize the band to fit both your clientele and your specific event.

     For those desiring an unforgettable evening affording a taste of the entire repertoire, the full The Sounds of Essence band consisting of keyboards, bass guitar, drums, saxophone, lead guitar, and four vocalists is guaranteed to fit the bill. Our Ultimate Party Band is not for the faint at heart. With 11 pieces we'll add horns for an awesome sound that will have you dancing the night away!

     Should an afternoon or evening in the park be more your style, we'll come out and perform as you relax to the music of Kenny G, Aretha Franklin, Incognito, or Earth, Wind &Fire, to name a few. Whether Turner Field or the Ritz Carlton, performing for 50 or 5,000, The Sounds of Essence is willing and able to accommodate your events' needs.
